Silent Fall - in a perfect world
CD
Hey, sounding pretty good. Reminds me of Swiz
(at least in the first song) in parts, but more tight and a lot more metally.
Some of this sounds very typical of late 80's straight-edge hardcore except
with more of an emotional edge. Great lyrics having to do with homophobia,
suicide, unity ~ Rational Inquirer #9
Kill Sadie - Traitor CD & 7"
4 of 5 skulls Screamy emo/punk/grindcore with
super fast timing changes. His Hero is Gone meets Grade??? The vocals
are screamed out like Econochrist, which works quite well here. The best
part is that while the music is played at lightning fast speed, every
song has a memorable part and sounds different from the previous song.

Noisy, screamy "go nuts" HC that is good at
being noisy screamy go nuts HC. Better than most bands that sound like
Rorschach, Heroin, Deadguy and Rites of Spring mixed together. they're
food at the mixture. ~ Change Zine #11
Fervent Hardcore boasting throat-mangle vocals and a
mesh of aggro and sublime early DC emo (Rites of Spring/Swiz) melodies.
A formidable, often draining - in a good way - sound storm and Killsadie
mix up the sweet with the stinging very well. ~ Suburban Voice No 42(!)
Lanyard - Realms 7"
Woah. Very different and unique. An all-instrumental
7" band that plays kinda-eerie complex HC with a saxophone and guitarist
who match awesome notes. Tough to reference, but a more HC Craw with a
sax for a vocalist gives you an idea. And the audience roars in approval!

Angles in the Architecture - One
Ten CD & 7"
3.5 of 5 skulls After a couple listens the
visions of boys in button up shirts and girls with cure hair started to
pop into my head. Running along side bands like Texas is the Reason and
Mineral, Angels in the Architecture play that melodic, semi-whine style
of post hardcore meets rock, and they do it well. I can see the kids at
their shows doing that "rock back and forth while slapping the chest"
dance along with the beat, and I bet if I was at one of their chows I
would probably so the same. Now my last question is, where the hell is
Tonawanda, NY? ~ Sliver 5
A melodic burst of poppy, post hardcore music a warm
buzz does emanate from the four compositions here. ~ Suburban Voice No
